The Izip Urban Cruiser Enlightened includes a 6061 aluminum frame, 8-speed rear derailleur system, alloy front suspension fork and suspension seat post, front disc brakes and hi-rise cruiser bars for perfect upright positioning. Weighing in at only 50 lbs, the Urban Cruiser is one of the lightest full size eBikes on the market today.

The Enlightened Series of stealth electric assist bicycles are designed to have a simple, clean bicycle look with five power level settings that control the pedal assist level and battery power draw.


Torque Measurement System

• TMM4 Torque Measurement Technology reads subtle changes in chain line force and drives the motor for pedal assist power.
• The Advantage. There are no throttles or other distractions to the ride. The system reads human power input and adds motor power proportional to the force applied when pedaling.
• The Benefit. Rider can simply concentrate on riding while experiencing top performance and clean bicycle styling.
   

Electro Drive

• Currie TMM Hybrid Drive System with a compact high torque brushless planetary hub motor.
• The Advantage. The patented drive technology blends both human power and motor power to combine at optimal levels. Five power modes, to vary the power boost.

Battery System

• Currie Enlightened Series Bicycles offers a 24V 10 ampere hour battery pack with advanced Lithium-ion power storage.
• Advanced Lithium-ion power storage offers a safe system with single cell battery management for superior performance and long cycle life.
• The Benefit. Lithium-ion battery packs are lighter and last longer; just one-third the weight and three times the cycle life when compared to heaver SLA batteries.
