Electric Scooters, Gas Scooters, Mopeds, ATVs, Electric Bikes and Pocket Bikes
Accepted Methods of Payment. We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept personal checks (with a 10-day hold for the check to clear).
Shipping Time. The time needed to ship merchandise will vary depending on the shipment's location and the particular time of year. Customers should expect a 5 - 7 day delivery time, but in some cases 3 -5 day delivery time.
Shipping to CANADA!! (The XB-562 CAN NOW be Shipped to Canada for and addtional $100)
The X-10, X-160 and the XB Models can be shipped to Canada. Shipping Costs are additional.
Any gas powered motor greater than 49CC CANNOT be shipped to Canada. All other shipments to Canada are extra and paid for by the buyer. To determine the estimated shipping costs, I would recommend using the UPS site. Type in your zip code. If you are interested in an Electric Powered Bicycle or a Hybrid Electric Bicycle, use ZIP 91311. For all other X-TremeScooter items, use ZIP . 50208. Bottom line, it is not cheap!!. There are a lot of extra charges. Here is a sample for a 60# package going to New Brunswick Canada Zip E1C7R3.

Shipping Methods for X-Treme Scooters. Merchandise will be shipped using Ground Service where possible.
Shipping costs are included with our pricing if we are shipping FedEx ground / DHL Ground to the lower 48 states. AK & HI must be shipped by AIR and those costs are additional and not included under our free shipping. We do not offer COD. Air Rates can be found on the FedEx website by searching for rates from our zip code 50208 to your zip code.
Home delivery of freight items is $50 per order, not per item. This $50 home delivery applies to the X-Treme Scooter Brands on their Bikes, Mopeds, ATVs etc. This $50 will be added to your order.

X-Treme Scooters Freight Shipping: Large mopeds, electric bicycles, ATVs and mobility scooters such as the XB-500, XB-508, XB-350, XA-750, XT-300 & others are shipping by freight carriers strapped to pallets. These items will be charged a $50 Delivery Fee per manufacturer's directions.
Each door delivery from using R&L Carriers will inlcude a lift gate.
**ALL Freight Shipments must include the customers phone number. If we do not receive the correct phone number of the customer, the shipment will not be shipped or delivered. The carrier will phone the customer to schedule delivery to the door.
**Freight palletized shipments going to New York City zip codes:
100-104
110-119
150-196
will incur a $100 service charge in addition to the $50 door delivery fee. Their is no exceptions for this fee as all freight carriers are charging $100 or more for these NYC zip codes.
**Freight palletized shipments going to Martha's Vineyard Island zip codes:
025-026
will incur a $100 service charge in addition to the $50 door delivery fee for transportation on the ferry to the island. Shipments picked up on the mainland at the terminal are free.
All shipments refused at any terminal will have the shipping costs billed back to the purchaser. Please be sure you or your customer is located near a terminal and has the capability of picking it up if they are not choosing the $50 optional door delivery service option.

Shipping Program for eZIP & IZIP Electric Powered Bicycles and Hybrid Electric Bicycles.
All eZIP and IZIP Electric Bicycles (*) (**) will be shipped via the Ride in Four all Inclusive Shipping Program. The Ride in Four involves the following:
"RI4" - "Ride in Four" ALL INCLUSIVE!!!! - $175 Value
- $60 value for Professional Bicycle Assembly - Build, Tune, and prep each bike individually for shipment
- QC Checklist is Performed
- We then remove the front wheel, handlebar, saddle, and pedals and replace the bike in it original carton and packaging
- Our Distribution Department reinforces the carton for secure shipment via UPS Ground
- $115 value is the Shipping Charge, regardless of destination within the 48 contingent US States

Assembly of this bike is required. It is recommended that you take it to your local bike shop for proper assembly!! We off a flat rate charge of $75 for Shipping regardless of destination within the 48 contingent US States. Assembly will take about an hour. This will be shipped on a truck. The box weight ~160 lbs including the pallet.
Tricruiser;
Assembly of this bike is required. It is recommended that you take it to your local bike shop for proper assembly!! We off a flat rate charge of $135 for Shipping regardless of destination within the 48 contingent US States. Assembly will take about 3 hours. This will be shipped on a truck and comes in two boxes weighing about 175 lbs including the pallet.

How do I take advantage of FREE SHIPPING?

- Ship your items to a single U.S. Address, except Alaska and Hawaii.
- Under Choose Your Delivery Method, choose Ground Shipping in the drop down menu. Please note that your order may take an additional 3 to 5 business days to ship out from our fulfillment center. Transit time for FREE SHIPPING orders is 10 – 15 business days after shipping.

- FREE SHIPPING only applies to select Bicycles and Scooters. Coastline Bikes , parts , accessories and certain sale items are excluded from offer. *Tricruiser, HG1000 , Sereno and sale items are excluded from this offer. Parts and accessories are excluded from offer.
- If you qualify for FREE SHIPPING but your order also contains one or more ineligible items, you’ll be charged shipping fees for those ineligible items.

Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.
Manufacturers Defects. If a product appears to have a manufacture’s defect, email our Customer Service department for instructions. Do not return products to us without first contacting us to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package. Please see Warranty webpage.
Before completing your purchase, please confirm that you have selected the correct item(s), color(s), accessories, etc. Due to the high volume of orders we receive and the speed at which we process these orders, once an order is placed it is generally processed & shipped immediately therefore we have a NO cancellation policy after an order has been placed.
Return Merchandise Policy. Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. You have 5 days from the ship date to receive refunds. You must email the refund request to support@thescooterfamily.com (with "RETURN" in the subject field), at which time the return authorization number (RA#) with return instructions will be sent to you. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package. Products being returned must have a RA# issued before returned.
If you received a different product than initially purchased, the item must be returned with the following: (Return Merchandise Policy above)
· All original contents (product, manuals, instructions, etc.).
· Original packaging.
· Original invoice or receipt.
Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:
- Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
- Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
- Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
Return Terms and Conditions
Customer is responsible for returning merchandise at their own expense.
Merchandise must be received in 100% new, re-sellable condition. Merchandise is not eligible for refund if it has been ridden, worn, used, abused, damaged in any way or gas has been added to the fuel tank. Merchandise must arrive complete (including warranty cards, manuals, accessories, promotional items, etc.) and in the original packaging.
Customer must initiate return shipment of the merchandise within 15 days of the purchase date. THERE WILL BE A 25% RESTOCKING FEE.
Preparing your product for Authorized R.A.N. return shipment:
- Re-pack the merchandise securely in its original packaging, include the original contents of the box; warranty cards, Manuals, accessories, promotional items, etc.
- Include a copy of your invoice.
- Include a copy of the RAN notice you have received from us via our support department help desk.
- Clearly print your RAN# on the return shipping label (on the outside of the box).For your protection we recommend all returns be sent via UPS, Federal Express, DHL or other courier that issues a tracking number. We recommend that the shipment is insured. The customer is responsible for damage or loss during return shipping.
- Freight collect and COD packages will not be accepted.
At the discretion of , TheScooterFamily returns which do not follow the above guidelines may be refused and require the customer to pay return shipping and handling fees, or an additional processing fee may apply. If accepted, items returned without an RAN# are subject to an additional 25% restocking fee.
All shipping charges are non-refundable.
Once merchandise has been accepted for refund, credit will be applied to the account through which payment was originally made immediately.
We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
